About Us

Built for People,
Not Finance Bros

DollarDrill exists because financial math shouldn't require a spreadsheet degree or a $99/month subscription.

The DollarDrill Team

Editorial & Tools

We're a small independent team that builds free financial calculators. Every tool is grounded in standard, published financial formulas and checked against authoritative primary sources — not opinions or rules of thumb.

Why We Built This

Answering a basic money question — what would my monthly payment actually be? — usually means bouncing between clunky bank calculators, tools that bury the result behind an email signup, and blog posts padded with ads and vague advice.

DollarDrill exists to give a clean, honest answer without the catch: fast, formula-based math, no signup, no data harvesting, no financial advice disguised as a calculator result.

"The calculator you wish existed — with the math shown, and the sources cited."

DollarDrill offers five free calculators covering the financial decisions that matter most to regular people: buying a home, understanding a loan, mapping simple-interest and HELOC costs, figuring out your take-home pay, and planning long-term investments.

Our Mission

Financial literacy shouldn't be a luxury. But for most people, understanding the real cost of a loan, the true impact of compound interest, or how much house they can afford feels inaccessible — buried in jargon, paywalls, or oversimplified rules of thumb.

DollarDrill's mission is simple: give anyone the same clarity that a financial professional has, for free, in seconds. Not "good enough" clarity — real, accurate, formula-based math presented in a way anyone can understand.
